Donald E. Mruk, M.D., FAAFP
Dr. Mruk is a native of Massachusetts and graduate of the University of Massachusetts Medical School, Worcester Massachusetts. He completed his internship and residency at Saint Clare's Hospital Family Practice Residency Program, Schenectady, New York. Dr. Mruk is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. His original certification was in 1983 and has successfully completed the educational and testing requirements to maintain his Board Certification. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He has served on numerous Athol Memorial Hospital committees including serving on the board of Trustees. In his spare time he enjoys organic gardening, seed saving, solar energy and permaculture projects.
Timothy Soule-Regine, M.D., FAAFP
***Dr. Soule-Regine has made the difficult decision to retire as of August 4, 2023. It is a sad day for NQFP, but a happy day for him. His retirement is well deserved. We will miss him.
We have started contacting his patients by mail and phone calls to arrange new appointments. Please bear with us as we work through the transition.

Dr. Soule-Regine is a graduate of Tuft's University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts and completed his Family Practice internship and residency at Wilson Memorial Hospital in Johnson City, New York. Dr. Soule-Regine was certified by the American Board of Family Medicine originally in 1989 and has maintain his Board Certification through ongoing medical education and periodic examinations. Dr. Soule-Regine is particularly interested in office orthopedics. In his spare time he enjoys hiking, fishing and wild mushroom hunting.
OUR NURSE PRACTITIONERS
Our Advanced Practice Registered Nurses (APRN) are Board Certified Nurse Practitioners who have completed advanced course work and clinical education. They are licensed by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Nursing. They manage and treat acute and chronic conditions, provide preventative health screening, prescribe medications and make referrals within their scope of practice. They work in collaboration with a licensed physician.
Kristin McCarthy, APRN, BC
Kristin McCarthy is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Kristin's interests are in women's health and alternative therapies. She is certified by the Department of Transportation as a Certified Medical Examiner. Kristin enjoys cross country skiing and spending time with family and friends.
Amy B. King, APRN, BC
Amy King is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Worcester Adult Nurse Practitioner Program. She is certified by the Department of Transportation as a Certified Medical Examiner.
Diane Grasso, APRN, BC
Diane is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst Family Nurse Practitioner Program. Diane has practiced in a variety of settings including Family Medicine Practices, Community Health Center and prior to joining our staff providing care to hospitalized patients at Athol Memorial Hospital. Diane is certified by the Department of Transportation as a Certified Medical Examiner.
